1. Red Bull Soap Box Race Jamaica | Discovery Bay | St. Ann | Jamaica | August 12th, 2007 | Participants design, build and then attempt to race their human-powered carts and compete for the prizes and fun. Judges and scorekeepers will evaluate each team for their creativity, showmanship, and speed.

Red Bull Soapbox Race challenges everyone from amateurs to engineers to craft outrageous human-powered carts to race against the clock in a downhill sprint to the finish line. On August 12th, racing dreams will become reality on Discovery Bay (St. Ann) with a course that is sure to test not just speed but steering ability.

Don’t be fooled, this is not your average boy scout derby – not when cheese puffs, super heroes, and rodeo clowns are flying down the track! Forty teams of four members each are judged on three things: speed, creativity, and showmanship. The past has proven that the wilder your cart the better!
